During my time at Parsons School of Design, I explored the connection between food and hiring—reimagining how we bring on new coworkers and how company culture and values are formed from the very beginning.

Process and Inspiration

Through eight cooking-based interviews and supporting research, I found that preparing food as part of the interview process allows both participants to be seen as people first. As they cook together, stories naturally emerge, and each person shares more of who they are than they would in a traditional interview setting.
